What's the science behind it? Yesterday my boyfriend shows me an inbox from an ex yesterday. The message reads "hey I saw this aquarium the other day and thought of you but you got a bitch (me)" he blocked her. First off this bitch saw no aquarium she went to his FB profile and saw me. What is up with these girls who want to try to squeeze in and be a mistress? Don't girls understand that the same way you got him you WILL lose him? Plus the disrespect! You can tell the bitch is a hood booger. You white men that date black women sometimes go for the most ghettoest ones, you can literally have the top pick of the girls in the community do better! Anyways he told me after "girls give me more attention and look at me more now that Im with you" ofc they do they want to replace me 👀

There actually is science behind it!

I mean it has a psychological explanation.

Women find taken men more attractive because subconsciously they think this man is trustworthy, having good enough qualities to attract and keep other women, loyal and they imagine this man having all the good qualities a good man should have.

So lots of men have noticed how a woman by their side raises other women’s interest to him.

That’s a trap though.

As soon as a man falls for the trap and cheats on his wife/girlfriend, suddenly the new girl realizes he’s not so perfect, he’s not as loyal, he’s not as keeper as she thought. So, she too, loses her respect and interest to him easily, because of that men should remember by chasing two things, they will lose both of them and

girls should remember, the second that man cheats his wife with her, he suddenly won’t be as ideal as she thought. So while her pride must be pleased, that man won’t have a value to her anymore.

I think it’s got to do with women wanting to feel like they can steal a guy from you to feel as if they’re “better” than you…

My bf’s ex is also being weird af, she started posting about him and posting old pictures of them on snap as if they’re still together and seeing each other. My boyfriend got mad and confronted her angrily then blocked her but it’s getting to me, I don't know who to trust

He's looking for an excuse to cheat or leave.
It's coming probably.
Senerio b is that he is trying to get your attention by letting you think that others want him.
But if someone does not really anything to do with person texting, then not only block but would be blunt about telling them to stay lost.
Why do people think they have be dirtlegs to feel good about themselves.

It's my understanding that (some) women view a taken guy as a guy who has already passed the "boyfriend test". That, and women are just naturally competitive with each other.

Meaning that another woman has already decided that he's worth dating, and if they can steal him, they can just skip all of the work in finding a guy who's boyfriend material. They've already found one, and another woman has done all the work.

Ironically, if they do succeed in stealing him, then he's not worth dating, anyway, 'cause he's a cheater. 🤷‍♂️

This drives me nuts but it’s too common. Without fail I’ve always had other women come out of the woodworks when I get girlfriend.

It’s a dumb combination of jealousy and also assuming that man is higher quality because he is “tested” by another woman.

This results in the following:

1) Temptation for taken guys

2) More paranoia for the girlfriend/wife

3) Women ignoring and frustrating single men. This is worst ramification. Just because their single it doesn’t mean they are “lower quality” than the taken guy.

4) Women wasting their time chasing taken guys. If he does give in, is that someone you can trust not to cheat on you? I wouldn’t trust a girl who cheated on her boyfriend/husband with me.

The so called science behind that is that guys that are taken are the good choices for a relationships so women that are single might prefer them.
Your case is a case of probably regret hence she didn´t expect him to find a woman again so now that he´s taken and she´s single she needs a vessel for anger.

It is a thing with women. A man who is taken has passed a form of pre selection in terms of boyfriend tests and standards which can range up and down the spectrum. If he is taken by a woman, he gives off a certain energy and aura that single men don't which increases the level of interest and potential attention.

Some girls really like the guy and want to shoot their shot regardless.
Some girls.. it gives them a sense of "pride" and boosts their self esteem.
I don't think they want to be a mistress, i think they want him to chose them over their current girl.
Could be just boredom.

I dont know why they'd expect a serious relationship with the man afterwards though as he clearly has no loyalty lol.

I think part of it is that women see that this man is taken so there must be something really good about him that they can’t find in other men so they want the same thing as well. I think a lot of women have a hard time finding a man who is worthy of living their life w. So when they see a man as taken they key in on it as well that he’s taken for a reason, but regardless some of them still try to take that for their own. I’m sure there’s some women out there who just get off on seeing whether or not they can get a man to unfaithful. I’m sure there’s a million reasons why women do what they do.

Anyway, please note that she's not an unknown person: she's the one he used to have sex with before you, and she obviously considrrs you an intruder. So it's natural that she tries to diminish you (and its obvious that you try to diminish her, as well). Try to imagine what you would do if he dumped you for a third gurl. Wouldn't you say the same to him? Women play dirty when it's time to have a relationship back.
