Why are some women attracted to men that are taken?

I can’t figure out whether they’re in competition with me, obviously my boyfriend is attractive to.  Any clues why women do this?

All I know is it's true. I don't wear a wedding ring because it makes women that would normally treat me like a weirdo pedo as some sort of prize she's out to get.

This is what my wife thinks about it. These women view being able to swipe a taken man as some sort of badge of honor. Her logic about it makes sense to me because that's what it feels like... it's like she's trying to get stripes on her belt or something and I don't feel great when it's happening.

It's hard to explain how it feels. Like imagine getting treated like a dusty ass burger shop worker and then all of a sudden shit changes when she finds out you drive a fancy car. That fake ass change in attitude and intentions just because of something like being married. It's fucking sus. Sus as all fuck. Their intentions are really suspect.

I'm not talking shit about chicks that just let their guard down because they now view me as a safe guy. I'm talking about those chicks that start heavy flirting, flashing a titty, and getting all touchy feely for no reason. Those chicks. It's on par with something I consider evil.

Women find men who are already taken more attractive, because in their minds a taken man means he must have qualities that have made him successful with a woman. I'm not saying I agree with this, I'm just saying this is a reason. I think it's both pathetic and hypocritical, because the moment a woman is taken and a guy tries to make moves on her, she will feel disrespected.

Some women also like the idea that they could pull a man away from his woman. They see it as an ego boost or practice to try to lure him.

If they do this, then it’s probably because of jealousy and their own insecurities.
Some other reasons could be that they’re attracted to your boyfriend but they maintain their distance respectively.
Then there are others who tryna manipulate and make it feel like a competition, those b*tches aren’t real friends.

Sometimes it's just inside us to think a man is better if he's taken. It's kind of a compliment but it might not feel like it. Sometimes it's things girlfriends mention. Like my girlfriend kept talking about this boy she was hooking up with and how amazing his thing was. She was saying it's true what they say about them. That's going to get a girl thinking. Pretty soon our natural drives take over and we can't stop thinking about it. We might not even try to compete but our attraction takes over. We send signals. I got all flustered and flushed red in the face and couldn't stop staring, and he knew I wanted it without me saying a word. She thought it me competing but it was just desire.

I mean is always a "better man" when he has a girlfriend or wife. We're able to delicate things to her, such as wardrobe selection, picking out food, and whether or not I should bathe that day (which is almost always a yes). Therefore, the other girls see this man and they're like, holy crap this guy smells and looks good. He doesn't seem like a desperate creep either.
