Is it normal to stalk someone you like?

I have liked the same girl since elementary school but I never told her because she is out of my league. There are occasions where I find myself in places that I feel uncomfortable looking at myself from a third point of view.
I know where she lives and it started off with me just driving by her house to see if her car was there and knowing she was there at home made me feel happy that she was there and then it progressed into me parking my car at a distance and walking by her house to see her at home through windows. Then that progressed into me waiting for 3-4am to know for a fact she is asleep and so is everyone else so I can watch her sleep. Yes, I know this is creepy as heck and the truth is that I would never go inside her house or do anything to her. I love her and I am not that kind of guy. I just admire looking at her. She has stunning looks and I just admire looking at her sleep from a distance.

I only stalked online,. Googling and finding things about them on public sites, not hacking to get information. There are lines and at least following the laws is essential.

You see that your stalking has already evolved? From just driving by her house to now looking inside her windows when she is sleeping. You need to stop yourself before you go further. You have already passed the line of privacy, you need to step back from that.

Well what you're doing isn't a very good thing because you're violating her privacy but you don't have any bad intentions because you love her. I think you're just a little too protective and if you want help, you have to reach out even if you might get looked at weird it'll be worth it because you can love the girl normally.

No but I recommend you make a move or just get away from her, it's only a matter of time before someone sees you stalking and will cause some sort of problem that can end up ruining your face with this stalker title, if you like her, give it a shot and ask her on a date but don't be weird

I had a stalker once when i was 16 to 17 he was from my mom's job he is like 36 or something now... and he wanted to date me and stalked me a lot on social media then went to the same places i went and stuff well if you think what i just said is ok then seek help
