Do you find it difficult to call other people "beautiful"?

I'm notoriously bad at complimenting people on their physical appearance - I can and do take note that they are attractive, but when I compliment them, usually I compliment their clothes or accessories.
I'm trying to overcome this flaw because I fear it makes me look conceited and I got told that the lack of compliments on the physical appearance makes people feel unappreciates and unwanted.

No, I can't say I've ever had any trouble telling a beautiful girl that I found her "beautiful" (in... appropriate situations... obviously).

I think that the feedback you've been getting is good advice. This is something you should try to work on.

People will give more value to a compliment about their appearance rather than their clothes. The reason for this, is exactly the same reason (I think) you find it difficult to give women these types of compliments: They are more 'intimate' compliments. They are more 'personal'.

If you compliment someone's clothing, that says "I like your fashion choices" or at best "I like the way that looks on you". But what means a whole lot more is telling someone "I like the way... YOU look. I find you an attractive PERSON" (rather than a person with attractive clothing).

So, I think it's an intimacy thing. A fear of taking the risk of giving a compliment that's more intimate and personal in nature. I would suggest maybe trying to take some baby-steps of some sort. I don't know your situation... whether you're seeing someone right now; or maybe you've got a female friend or two who you can "practice" on (I'm totally serious").

Maybe don't start with "beautiful"... maybe start with complimenting something specific about them? Or maybe start with using less-intense substitute for "beautiful" (you look great/hot/cute/adorable/good/etc. today)

(Now, you CAN compliment non-clothing fashion-choices like "hair" and "makeup"... for some reason I can't quite explain... those things count more as complimenting "the girl" rather than her "fashion choices". Again, don't ask me why)

I think that this is one of those things that won't be an issue for you, once you become comfortable doing it. It's just getting comfortable in the first place that'll take some work. After that, I think this problem will disappear. 🙂

No not even and if you read any of my answers you would know that I find beauty in everything I even tell my friends my guy friends if they're beautiful are they look nicer there handsome without even thinking twice because I know who they are I know who I am beautiful comes from the inside the outside is all just an extra bonus and I'm not afraid to tell anybody

No, if I find someone beautiful I will. But if I see the option average there, I will call them that. Because I don't think average is bad. And unless you're a supermodel, we are all just casual, normal, average people.

No, for me it is very easy to compliment others. I will have no hesitation in complimenting a woman who looks gorgeous to me.

However, I will never accept any compliments because I totally dislike all types of compliments. I just give a deaf ear to it.

I can relate a lot, since I find complimenting others for their appearance embarrassing, because I feel like I can offend them, maybe noticing or remarking an issue they don’t want other to discover. Usually I don’t like receiving compliments so I don’t compliment other people and often I’m shown as cold or unwanting to see things.
I find very easier to compliment for an accessory or for a thing they do.

If I genuinely find someone beautiful, I would like to compliment them but I'm too self conscious to do that. I don't know but I always imagine all the wrong ways they'd take it or maybe I'd seem weird.
