I agree that you should ask him. Don't do all the work of setting up all dates/calls, but it's perfectly fine to set up the initial one and to share the responsibility of keeping it going, back and forth. Dating coach Matthew Hussey offers good advice: invest in people who invest in you. So, invest some, and wait to see if he invests back without prodding.

Yeah, it's good form to return the call. I've noticed a lot of guys like to text forever, but I also think it's a sign of disinterest or emotional unavailability (like avoidantly attached). I really get bored with someone if they want to text a lot and don't want to meet up or talk on the phone. If you feel the same, I'd say something like, "Hey you seem really cool and I'm interested in getting to know you more. I like to text, but it's hard when you don't know someone. If you want to talk on the phone sometime or if you want to meet up, I'd like to too. Let me know." Whether you do that or not, I'd have an internal (keep it to yourself) time limit on this person, for how long you'll just text. If they don't make progress, then I'd let them go by saying something like, "Hey, I don't think we're compatible so I don't think it's a match. I wish you the best." Referring to intimacy (getting close) compatibility.

You could try offering, to move to a different platform or for texting. It isn't entirely up to him to ask.

I personally think he’s taking his time. Obviously if he waits more than a bit more time, you are allowed to think if he’s interested. Maybe you can try asking a bit more directly what are his intentions and see what’s his answer.

No. He might be waiting for you. Because you women especially very so much in how comfortable you are to meet and when, then I often wait for her to say it first honestly. You're either "not interested" because you aren't saying anything, or "creepy" if you suggest it too soon. You can't win! lol

I know a lot of gals on dating apps want to chat for awhile first, then meet up in a public place for their sense of safety. So I'll usually stay on chatting options for awhile, Dating app, discord and Hangouts. till they are ready to meet in person.
