Is it possible he's considering it or wasting my team?

I've been with my boyfriend (25M) for 5 years. I've told him I want to be at the next step and be engaged. I'm ready to move on since he doesn't want to right now but he asked for more time last week. Is it possible he's actually considering it or more likely he's wasting/ stalling time before we break up.

Everyone has different speeds. Only he can tell you (and you just have to trust he's being honest - especially if you're considering marrying this man, trust is a must. ie if you think he's actually lying, maybe you shouldn't marry him anyway?). But women often have "time tables", and I don't know about other guys, but I know for me it AUTOMATICALLY makes me question HER and how she really feels about me? Does she really want to marry me because I'm the love of her life, or satisfying the "time table"? You know? Think of it if it was reversed, would you not kind of feel the same way? But I also believe you don't have to be married to "prove" anything or "live happily ever after" either.

Both options are possible you would really know better then us as u are with him I will say if u are willing to leave now tho it might be better for you to do so

Ay, 5 Years of a relationship wonder what he did to mess that up, but yea, I believe that he is stalling it
