Girls, if you have a 3.5 to 4.0 gpa would you date an engineer with 2.7 gpa?

As long as the guy was actively trying to improve his grades, I don't see a problem. For those that are lazy and not trying to improve, I would have a big one.

I concentrated and studied hard in school. I had good marks and would expect my partner to at least be putting extra effort in to improve. The second I see that the grades are a result of being lazy and not trying, game over.

As for the engineer part, does't much matter what he is studying. I'm not judging what people want to ultimately do in life. If that is his passion, good for him. I date based on personalty mostly.

You could studying medicine or engineering or whatever. If your personality is rubbish, that matters.

Depends, how much is he making? By which I mean, what’s he doing now? For example, both my father and uncle weren’t huge on GPA and they didn’t do well in school, but they eventually made into good positions in society and did well. If he had a bad GPA but he was doing well in life and making his parents proud, etc., I don’t see a problem with it.

Yes I would. Grades are kind of meaningless.
