Haven’t heard from this guy that I’ve been casually seeing in 5 days. I found a message from another woman ask to meet and I confronted him. He said they went on a few dates last year and now they are just friends who have dinner occasionally. He said I’m the only one he’s sleeping with and he thought it was silly that I would get so upset about it. Then he said he’s sorry that I had to find out like this. Told me that I’m special to him and he really likes spending time with me. Should I believe him?

I would believe but keep your guard up.

Like only let him in a little and prove himself that he’s REALLY about you and no one else. Let him do all the work. In the meantime I’d kind of just talk to other guys. Doesn’t have to be dating but get to know people you know? You have every right to go live your life
