If a woman I had an intimate/romantic interest in expressed that she just wanted to be friends with me I would decline and most likely stop talking with her further.

I’d rather save myself the mental torture and stress. If she wants to maintain some form of communication just in case she seriously needs help then I’m down for that.

Other than that, I’d maintain little to no other contact with her.

If she wants to introduce me friends of hers that I may want to meet then I’d be down for that sure.

This is a great question and one that all men will face sooner or later.

In my experience it is best to not entertain any notions of romance with a women who does not want a relationship with you. Understand that if you like some women but are content with "just being friends" the reason behind that is you have a hope that you can be with her someday. I have been through this several times in my life ( I can be a slow learner at times) and now I do not give any women the time of day.

Being in this situation is what we call being in the friend zone. This is a torture that no man should endure ever. Women will always have a main guy that they can't get enough of and will go to bed with. If you are her "friend" you might as well be her girlfriend; she will use you for attention , money , rides to places , a shoulder to cry on etc - but there will be no pussy for you. While you are pining over her, her legs will be spread and pointed to the skies while her bad boy Alpha-chad boyfriend is unleashing his man-seed inside of her love canal (of which you will never, ever, ever, ever have access to) while she moans and groans up to high heaven screaming "fuck me! , fuck me! fuck me- !!"

Always, always , always, always say no to the friend zone.

I have been. Its been more I started out being friends than started to feel more carnal thoughts. I fact there was this one girl I had carnal thoughts about but it seemed fairly obvious it was not reciprocated. Then she seemed to be indicating she was having carnal thoughts which eventually re-ignited mine but by then she had gone off the boil after they were re-ignited.

As I recollect we went through several cycles. As she was a stripper it was probably best it was as it was.

The funny thing is that you can forge a friendship with a girl, then start having carnal thoughts but the friendship is so strong and functional it is better not to disrupt it with a grope. There was another friendship like that and if we had both been drunk at the right time... well it could have been different.

I really like a lot of women they are really pretty, smart, and hilarious. If you like a woman and spending time with her it doesn't invalidate those things if you just stay friends it just means you have a good friend.
