My boss talks crap about my other coworker and told me not to look up to him as a role model. Why would she go out of her way to tell me that?

She’s constantly complaining about mistakes he makes and errors, how he rushes into things and she’s not happy with how he does things. Today she sent me a list of people to talk to for help instead of him. Is this my fault or is she more upset with him?

I really don’t know. She just thinks he’s too overconfident in every way about everything. He’s even been douchy and annoying to me. And hypocritical.
She might be racist though. She loves Chinese people a lot and he’s black.

Well he does things to me too that I find douchy. He takes forever to respond to me but when I don’t reply he’s all over me like “everything ok?” “All good?” He leaves in like 3 weeks and keeps asking me how I feel about it as if I can’t do my job without him here to help me. He’s scolded me several times for so many little things.
