This guy I’m talking too, asks me where would you like to eat? We normally have our same restaurant we always go to this time he wanted switch things up. I go wherever you want you choose. He smiles and chooses. Did I make the right move or am I over thinking this lol I said this because I am very indecisive when it comes to restaurants and he has great taste so I trust him

My best advice is to not overthink. Men are simple creatures (doesn't mean that they aren't smart or anything of the kind). It most likely is a wimpiscal thought to ask for your opinion. Sometimes, a small change of pace can lead to a better relationship.

Do not think to hard about this. Think of your choices first beforehand (for next time or just in case). Make a small bucket list.
