When I was 23 I was all about my career, then fell for a man who fell for me too and I put my career away just to be able to be with him.

He never asked me that. He always told me I should chase my dreams and that if someday he stands between me and my dreams, I should always choose my “dreams”.

I didn’t listen. I wasted my time waiting for a chance to be with him again ( We have been stuck in different countries).

Now I am losing the man I love and I don’t have a good career either… I lost both…

You have to decide what's more important to you at this time of your life.

I'd choose career if I were your age. There are many men in your future at this point. Get your career established and yourself financially stable. You'll be able to bring more to the table and attract more men because of this.

There's no rush to mate right now. And on the other hand, why can't you have both? Is someone laying down an ultimatum? If that's the case, certainly don't choose that person. Go your own way. You'll get over the loss.

Sometime we have to make hard choices
But you know, deep down we always know what we want.
I usually flip a coin.
Doesn't matter what side it falls on, deep inside our mind we hope and pray for that side which we really wanted. That's the choise you should gravitate towards.

You can always find a guy but maybe not a career. Guys come and go but you can't always find a good career or afford to lose what you got invested in one. As Murphy's Law goes, if you go for the guy he will dump you and then you will wind up with neither.

Your money career is your safety net and your power.
Men come n go. Never ficus on a man it's a turn off to them anyway. Most healthy guys want someone with their own career and life.

If it really is one or the other, if it's a good career and one you like, you should focus on that and wait for the guy who doesn't impact your career in any way. Neither are easy to find sometimes, but a career is very important if you want and need financial independence and stability.

Career= my survival ability, its choice between do i want to live or him? Is he gonna pay my bills? Well then choice can be different, but then you become dependent on him, i like feeling of my own security, independence.
