Ya know, I was very much not interested in my now fiancée in school. She pretty much forced it to happen for a long time. She got treated like shit in the process. At one point I forced her to go and date my still best friend so I could get with the hot new girl in school. Called her fat when she was absolutely perfect. I dated her and other girls at the same time. She knew but to her it didn’t matter, I was hers. Diligence can sometimes work out greatly in either direction. You eventually come to mutual feelings of love if you’re right. I can’t imagine my life if she wasn’t so dead set on making me hers. We now have one happy life together and I grew to treat her like my personal goddamn princess. I think either direction, it can work but someone is bound to get temporarily hurt.
