That's a good thing. You are a awesome person on here! There are sometimes where I can understand a double standard. Some people personally want more "traditional" not my thing but I know in those relationships there is a GIVE and there is a TAKE

I think we have a pretty traditional marriage, but one of the reasons we married eachother is because we know we can trust each other to do whatever is good for our relationship. So we don't really have rules, and if we do they they apply to both of us.

Yea and that is good. Every relationship is different too so a one size fits all approach isn't really good in my opinion

But I kind of mean if there is male and female roles in the relationship. Even then they might have different rules for each other... But there is a give and take as well... As well as the fact that they both agreed on it.

We definitely have traditional gender roles, but as spouses our roles include helping eachother when needed. But yes we did discuss and agree on what we wanted long before getting married.

Exactly and there is nothing wrong with that. Glad you have such a great marriage! I think a lot of people get into relationships and try and change each other. When it is just not meant to be.

Which ends in disasters since they both are wanting different things. You obviously have to find the right person

NEVER! People don't know when to figure out that something isn't meant to be. When two people are having to change and have to be someone they aren't or having to conform to standards they don't agree with personally... Never gonna work
