How do I get myself out there?

Im 18 and want something serious and I want to settle down. Men stare at me and call me beautiful but they don’t really pursue me other than giving me a few glances. Would it be good to go on dating apps, or go out in public and hope someone has the courage to talk to me and hope it isn’t just for sex. Now and days it seems like all the good guys are taken and i’m left with the bimbos of the country. Any help?

Lol 😂 I had that same feeling. That all the good girls were taken and I was left with all the rude and irresponsible ones. I wouldn't use dating apps if I were you. You'll find a lot of guys that are just looking for s** if you plaster "age: 18" on your profile. Go out. Try new places. The chances of getting approached are kinda slim but there's nothing wrong with a girl shooting her shot. Just be sociable and cautious at the same time... If that makes sense. Don't lose hope. We're all in this together.

Lol! Sounds brutal. I would suggest keeping that self respect in lock down and engaging in other community activities. Take a class or join a group or something. Those dating apps only bring out guys who want sex and the good guys usually choose that little bit of social interaction that allows them to meet like minded people.

21 with no boyfriend and no engagement in the near future.

I know what I want because I’ve been on plenty of dates. I graduated at 16, moved out at 17, and currently am working towards my career so I know I want a man who can support me as I will him. A joint relationship with spouse and God is for when im married. I’m looking to date and get myself out there after a 2 year relationship has gone in the gutter. living for God to me is to lead my life with love and true happiness, and do my best to help others see Gods grace through my actions.
