My friend is overstepping his boundaries what do I do?

Anonymous
So I just recently got together with my fiance, he's done a lot for me and my son even taking care of us protecting us in a homeless shelter and I had no clue. My friend who I've known about the same amount of time who I've taken care of along with my younger brother and son is now saying that my relationship doesn't seem right. Doesn't seem like my boyfriend wants to be with me among other things. I feel really bad about it and bad about self doubting my boyfriend. Yet when I told my boyfriend he just shook his head and sighed saying if I snapped and beat him to a pulp the courts wouldn't see it that he had it coming ( my bfs joking if you can't tell).

I mean I understand my friends perspective I've taken care of them while in a shelter and other things like food and the sort. But my boyfriend I know if I give and invest it is equal even if my boyfriend is starting and working in a start up company. But my friend who owes me almost 5k just keeps blowing smoke up my ass and I'm just feeling done with the situation with them. I'm honestly at my wits ends because it's always oh I'll help you with this then he never does it or I'll pay you back then more drama starts.

But now that I'm with my boyfriend, someone that he is intimidated by its like he has issues because I take care of him.

So where do I put those boundaries or is it not worth salvaging?

In my mind I see all this from my friend as a power play tactic to keep me around to use my money (I get disability) while he still hasn't stepped up to help me while my boyfriend is like tell me when and let's go even putting his job on hold for a bit to go get ourselves on a few low-income housing lists.
