I’m 31, he’s 35 We were coworkers for 4 years in the summers while I went to college (first met when I was 19) My Dad was also his boss & they get along super well. I’ll admit I crushed on him initially but I’m very shy & didn’t make a move bc of that & he has a son who’s now 15 (His ex is a B). We would chat a lot at work & then occasionally on FB (only bc he doesn’t go on much & we never actually exchanged digits) He’s a super sweet, nice & funny gentleman.
FF post college, I’ve gone through 2 bfs - 1st lasted 4 months & only wanted 1 thing (good riddance) & the other lasted 4.5 years couldn’t make up his mind what he wanted, so I eventually ended it…it’s been 2 years since ending that one. There was one time close to the end of the 2nd that I ditched FB (completely) in hopes that it would help our relationship. I don’t remember how long my hiatus was, but I came back on, saw Mike was online one day & messaged “hi how’s it going?” & he replied “hey - where have you been! You’ve been MIA!”
I changed locations for my job shortly after dumping the 2nd ex & now work in the same city that Mikey’s in. I was out with my coworkers at the bar & posted about it & he messaged me a day or 2 later “hey were you there on Wed? I was there too - you stared right at me, but didn’t recognize me w/ my hat on” We chatted a bit then & a few months later I invited him out for my birthday. He came & bought me a couple beers & met my coworkers & they all liked him & tease me now
I recently took a leap & invited him to my best friend’s wedding & he came! (I was so anxious) A few of my older cousins were there & chatted him up, as did my Dad. Us 2 chatted for most of it, he bought me a beer & almost always stood near me. My cousins got us to dance together as well. He took it in stride - he also brought up some pretty deep stuff about his ex. Not sure if that was the drinks or if he felt that comfortable w/ me.
I just wonder if he likes me as just friends or potentially more?
