Similarly, women always think they put in more work because they are aware of every litttle thing that they do in dating but they are not aware of many of the things that men do in the course of dating.
And the bottom line is. . . even if you could determine a legitimate answer to th question, why does it matter?10 Reply
Anonymous(18-24)+1 yIt depends on what kind of work we're talking about.
The standard, attractive woman already does a lot to be out in the dating market: She's within a certain body type range, her hair is done, so is her makeup and nails, her clothes are costy, she smells nice and has great hygiene. Probably shaves or waxes too. She needs to mind what she talks and how she acts and what's her liestyle. She needs to seem
interesting and fun to talk to. She needs to seem approachable, but not too much otherwise she'll be too easy. She needs to be smart enough to not be easily swayed by men. We're not talking about a beauty queen or anyone's dream girl, we're talking about the average dateable lady.
Society expects less of men per se, so men often balance that out by proving to be an enjoyable companion. He might not be stylish or handsome, not particularly smart, not very interesting. But he makes her laugh, he asks her out on nice dates, he compliments her looks, asks about her, he makes the first moves and approach her, he supports her. That's the average attractive man.00 ReplyYou don't work to win over a woman, you connect and build on attraction that is already there - Adam Taha.
If one party is more interested in the other, then a relationship would not work out. If the woman's attraction for the man is less than his attraction for her, then a long term relationship would not be sustainable.10 ReplyBoth sides have to put work in different ways, but online dating certainly made it a lot easier for women. Because of this, men certainly have to put in more work, not to make it work but to simply be seen as a viable partner. This happens regardless of me agreeing or not. In the end, everyone knows how much effort they put in it, how much they actually should and how should they proceed of such effort doesn't pay off.

+1 yIf you're dating with the intention of getting into a serious relationship, I wouldn't agree but if it's a casual thing, sure. I dont think most men are too trusting when it comes to getting serious with a woman, so women who want that have to prove that it's what she wants. Men also just get a lot of crap from the world generally so it wouldn't be a bad thing to do something nice for him without expecting something equally as nice in return.

+1 yMen can put as much work or investment as they want. If he values himself he will wait for her to reciprocate or move on and cut his losses. If he values her as a person he will respect her enough to listen to and adapt how he treats based on what makes her happy.
Men who are doing too much as doing it for the wrong person and that's on them.00 Reply
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yWhat? This isn't 1950. Either you're not noticing the work she's putting in (caring for her body, choosing clothes and food, thinking of convo topics etc,) or you're stuck dating someone shallow enough to expect you to do it all. And quite frankly, doesn't that make you wonder what she'll be like in bed? No one wants to hump a still bag of potatoes... regardless of orientation.

Asker+1 yThe thing is she dissent have to do any of that. She could still get dates and men interested in her. Men are not as shalllow as feminists and society like to claim. Women dont have to initiate or work on social skills. Men need skill to attract a woman. Women dont need any skill though because they're not pursuers, they're choosers
- +1 y
I mean guys are fine, if women dont want to "work" so hard they could not get dressed at all. If im trying to date a girl i wouldn't mind seeing her naked. But i just assumed everyone got dressed for the purpose of getting dressed, i didn't know that was "work". Leave it to women to think thats difficult. Smh. And what do you call a construction worker who then pays for dinner. Is getting dressed more or less work than spending 3 hours building a fucking house? Women are so delusional.

+1 yIf you think dating and relationships are work and you don't like doing it, save yourself the trouble and stay single.
You don't have to put in work if you don't want to. Just accept the consequences for your choice.17 Reply
Asker+1 yAs a man if i want a woman, i have to work on myself and raise my value. Men must create value to be attractive to women. Women dont have to do this. They don't pursue men. Men pursue you
- +1 y
No, no, trust me. We have to do this, too.
Men should not settle for a woman who refuses to work on herself. No one should.
That's called having standards.
I'm choosing to stay single for a while because I want to work on myself and improve my own life. Partially for whoever I end up dating again, but mostly because I want to be able to attract people of similar quality to me. - and that means raising my standards for my own self, too.
Asker+1 yYup sure you do. Men and women are not the same. a lot of men dont have high standards and that's not even a bad thing. Like patrice o neal said, women get dick just for existing. Men dont get pussy just for being men. We have to work for it and that's okay. Thats just the way things are
- +1 y
Lol, if you think women want the dick they get for just existing, you have never spoken to a real life woman.
Look, kid, if you wanna wallow in self-pity, you're welcome to.
But the reality is, it isn't hot. It isn't sexy. It isn't appealing.
Of course you're gonna get passed up when you're such a passive person! How wants to date someone who's resigned himself to misery instead of who sees potential to improve his life?
If you don't want to put in work, that's fine. That's your right. Just don't be surprised when you get nothing in turn.
Even if you're right, will complaining here help you? Nah, man. Getting your act together might, though.
Asker+1 yNot wallowing in self pity. But its funny to talk to women that have nos self awareness about their own gender and how easier things are for them in some areas. As a man we have an easier times with things. Both genders have it easy in certain areas it just so happens that getting laid and hooking up is much easier for women and it's not complaining. It's an observation. Why can't men talk about certain things when it comes to women without being called a whiner or complainer? Then you wonder why red pill communities exists
- +1 y
I don't wonder, I know why they exist.
Because the fragile cis men who inhabit them are too afraid of the reality that they need to put in work to admit it to themselves. It's literally easier for them to make an enemy out of an entire gender than for them to figure themselves out.
It's been analyzed already. Psychologists know what make incels incels. Unfortunately, the way society teaches these young men isn't to make them resilient. It's to tell them something's wrong with them but not teach them how to fix it.
Unfortunately, that is the hand you've been dealt.
How you deal with it is up to you. You can keep resisting it, or you can embrace the work and improve your own life.
But slamming yourself back in red pill jail cells isn't going to improve your life. It's just going to make you feel worse, and powerless. Because those communities thrive on making their membership feel helpless and powerless. It's their whole identity.
Asker+1 yIm not making an enemy out of women. I understand them a lot better and know how things actually work. You're making assumptions when again it's just an observation. And men have two options here
1. Understand how the dating world and women actually work and learn how to adapt and see if there's anything you can do about it
2. Don't play the game. You understand how things work and that it's not sunshine and rainbows and that's fine. Life isn't fair and no one is owed anything but you choose not play the game and focus on other things in life. Hobbies etc. And you got it wrong. The red pill helps men understand how female nature actually works and how to navigate through the dating world. But you'll see a couple bad apples and then assume the red pill is all about hating women which isn't true. The media loves to twist shit around and make it look like every member of the red pill community is hateful and sexist
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yGuys used to enjoy walking up to a woman’s door with a flower, even if it’s a dandilion. He’d have his hair done he was dressed very well and he knocked and they went out. But over over the years this has been lost.. and guys begin to complain and just don’t try anymore. Guys have become lazy and want the quickest way to a woman’s bed time fun. Facts.

Asker+1 yTrying or just not playing the game anymore?
Asker+1 yThe only winning move for a lot of men is not to play

+1 yIf it’s still true, and it probably is, that’s not okay. Equality is black and white. If a woman isn’t equally invested in a courtship and relationship, she’s using you.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yI mean it may be ok for some but I have a rule. I won't put anymore effort into her than she's willing to put into me. If that means being single, so be it!
If a woman expects me to put forth more effort then her. The only thing she's telling me is that I hold no value to her. Well why would I even want to be with a woman who does not value me at all?00 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. ?
You can put as much or as little "work" into dating as you want.41 Reply- +1 y
Fair play. But it seems clear to me the subtext herein. For equal results, do men have to invest more than women in dating? They probably do and that’s universally acceptable. Yes or no?

Asker+1 yWhat effort do women have to do?

02 Reply- +1 y
Who is going to sleep around with uou sir? Who says you even have those options?
- +1 y
It was a rhetorical statement. I don’t do hookups.
I don't think they necessarily always have to put more work in. And either way, if you love them you will want to put the work in.
