The woman I am talking to tells me that she loves me and she sends me kiss emojis. She says she is not yet ready for something serious though as she is still working through some things with her orevious relationship. Fine. To be specific, we are long distance.
Last night we were going to have a call around 10:30 pm. I messaged her to let her know I was ready and she never read it. I figured she had fallen asleep and I woke up around 2 am and had a message from her saying sorry. She had sent it around 11:45. I told her it was fine and good night. This wasn't read until around noon.
Today around noon she woke up and told me she went to bed at 6 am. She was on the phone with a guy friend in deep conversation where they were both crying but they also had a lot of laughs. She told me not to worry that she doesn't feel anything for him and none of their conversation was sexual.
Like most people when a girl says not to worry, I do the exact opposite. I just feel like I was ignored for another guy, but maybe I'm overreacting?
We have boundaries set, which is essentially just both of us can go out and talk to friends regardless of gender. Just no hand holding, kissing, or sex. We just set these boundaries on Thursday morning.
