Am I too jealous?

I don't feel secure in my current relationship, I check my boyfriend's social media activity all the time.

How can I stop that? It's affecting my relationship already, because whenever I see him online I get suspicious and that is also changing my attitude towards him.

I don't want that to continue but I can't help.

I call this the social media mind fuck... I just don't do social media for this very reason. It's rooted in your insecurities more so than anything else.

I stopped social media, but I never connected or follow anyone I dated for this very reason. It fucks with people's mind.

You are. I know somebody who went through the exact same thing. Just whenever they were apart, so it's a bit more extreme. I warned her it wouldn't end well for her she kept doing it. She kept doing it.

The result was that her boyfriend, who never really did anything wrong and stayed loyal until the end, got fed up with feeling and being accused of being unfaithful and decided to break up with her.

Gotta heal your trauma. Go to therapy. You shouldn't even be dating if you are that insecure.
