Do men date for marriage?

Do they visualise their future with someone they’re dating? Especially in the early stages

I think guys don´t go out dating for marriage for a long term relationship first, they later come to a point where they start considering marriage as an option for the future.
The reason is that guys often time think in plans and consequences meaning if I do that what could happen.
Therefore many of us don´t have long-term plans that go further than 5 years into the future.
It could be therefore easier looking for a good that is looking for a long-term committed exclusive relationship because if a guy says that´s what he´s looking chances are high that he might want to marry if he falls in love with you and it´s working out well.

I personally do think of long term potential if I am going to date someone. If there is no long term potential then I wouldn't be interested.
Marriage? Only if she offers to sign a prenuptial agreement so she can't legally steal from me in the future if things don't work out.

I've always dated to have fun, with an open mind that it could lead to a long-term serious relationship, but I don't date with the goal of marriage. If I did that, there woudl be very few dates on my calendar.

If you're talking about expecting to marry, then it's to early to be sure of that, but thinking that if all goes well, then we can have a future together, and eventually get married, then yes

I think men and women seem to want to marry a type of person they won’t date. An example is a man who wants a quick, easy piece of ass, but wants to marry a nice girl.

Trust has to be built first. Until trust is established she's just someone I enjoy spending time with. Trust takes time.
