Is DATING just for single people or do married people date each other?

What does the word  dating  really mean? Do only single people date? When a married couple does things together, is that a date?

it's for both single and married.
for single people, most people put some time and effort into a date, planning the date, getting cleaned up, dressing up better than your favorite old fire dept t shirt with holes in it.
The same can hold true for married people, be it an anniversary, birthday, holiday or just because.
It shows your partner that they are still special, and they are well worth the time and effort it took to plan the date, weekend outing, dinner, anything.
And yes there are the cheaters that date others outside of their spouse, but I don't think that was the gist of this question.

Most married people come home for work. Cook dinner eat do the dishes watch t v every single night

I mean, walk around the block. Go watch a movie. Go do something you've never done before.

You should still go out on dates with your husband/wife but most people stop putting effort in and then wonder why the marriage deteriorates. One of the reasons I doubt I will marry is, I rather be able to leave easily when it isn't working for me anymore and not feel tied to a guy who doesn't value or appreciate me. Men always put effort in the beginning and then stop after 6 years or so and start not treating you special anymore, so I rather not be tied to a guy like that once the romance dies.

I certainly do look for activities for my wife and I to enjoy together, such as dining out, day trips, weekend getaways, shopping excursions, and social activities with friends. I don't call it dating but it doesn't really matter what you call it.

I have the same questions bro. So many people on this site use the term "Dating" and that doesn't tell me just what the fuck they think dating is.

For all I know, in today's day and age, meeting up for sex in the park is a date. Does car sex count? Have I been dating all the hookers I bang the entire time?

Setting aside time to go somewhere and do something together is a date. You may have a nice meal, do something you enjoy doing, maybe even try something you have never done. But it is time for the two of you and is most certainly a date.
