Had 4 dates with a guy but we only see each other every two weeks?

31 (f) dating 32 (m) we’ve had 4 dates but he only makes plans to see me every 2 weeks. He has his own business and has a 4 year old daughter he has joint custody of.

I don’t know if I’m being needy wanting to see him more but I just don’t understand how we can build on anything if we only see each other every two weeks. He’s told me he knows it’s difficult and he doesn’t have much time but he does like me. He still texts me everyday and when I see him things feel great but I have communicated with him how I would like to see him at least once a week. He said at the moment he can’t give that and especially not with the six weeks holiday coming up.

We haven’t slept together and he’s told me he is in no rush, how he isn’t dating anyone else and doesn’t want to keep his options open so I don’t actually get what he is gaining from this, any advice would be appreciated.

Don't rush him, but do raise the point every now and again that you'd like to be more present in his life. If anything have conversations over the phone, its better than through text.

when you own your own you are very busy that is no lie it takes up all your time night and day so if you like him then be patient if you don't then let him go but it will be your loss

Damn, I think he could make time for you then living that close , he must really be busy with things, I would like to see someone I’m dating at least once a week
