I think at that age, you're still finding out who you are or what your place in life is. It might work out if you both keep the same interests or enthusiasm in what hobbies you both enjoy then it's worth fighting for.

Or you both drift apart because you discover the differences that grow between you, if you realize them maybe it's not.

however young love can be fleeting.

Also young love is usually a crush or infatuation with another person.
