How much should you text a new guy so that you don't come across as clingy or no life?

Don’t text him first unless you have to. Wait hours before you respond. Or he will think you are clingy because nine times out of ten that is what he is doing to you. If he asks what you are doing (call or text) act like you are busy (not necessarily too busy to talk but make sure he knows you have a life that doesn’t revolve around him). I have trouble controlling myself if I really like a guy but the guys I’ve played hard to get to have gone crazy for me.

Dont worry about that, text him just like you'd text anyone. I'm usually am a slow texter unless I know the person treats texting like an actual conversation

Find someone that likes you for you. You won't be happy if you just morph into something someone wants. That doesn't mean you can't grow and change.
