So I went on a date with this guy and it went well! We’ve been chatting everyday for two weeks when suddenly he went cold and distant, (the day before he was sending me pictures of his graduation and family saying he was excited to meet up again) he said he’s not looking for anything super serious (talking everyday) I get that, but he said he’d be up for a second date. He now says really sorry but he’s super busy with a work sports day and then “hibernating” over the weekend so I’m guessing he just isn’t interested? Will he message me again?

You probably talked too much. If he just wants something casual, talking everyday probably made him feel too attached or that you were too close to him, maybe both.
I'd probably let it go, but I'm pretty sure that if all you also want is to get laid, you'd probably still be able too
