to me they're basically exactly the same, except when you're a side chick, it means the guy you're sleeping with has an official partner that is known to their friends & family & you're someone he's sleeping with in private & is hiding from his life.

and when you're a fuckbuddy, it's the same, except the guy is single & is fucking around with multiple women. that's my understanding of the difference between the two. what would you say?

Well you are correct, you can say side chick and fuck buddy is very similar... but there's a big difference and kind of hit on it... but with both side chick or fuck Bubba its two way agreement or understanding. Yeah he's cheating and/or sleeping around but you as the women knew that up front and he never hid it from you.

Okay Fuck Buddy is a person you only hook up with for sex. You don't hang out together or even have a real friendship with the person. As fuck buddy you only keep it about the sex, and avoid any level of attachment or feelings for the other person, and don't care if he's fucking other women on the side.. and both parties agree to the arrangement.

Side Chick is someone you're fucking on the side. She knows your with someone else and she's or Side Chick or mistress. So with side chick it is a more personal relationship, and you do develop feelings and emotions for each other. There aren't supposed to multiple side chicks, there is one primary girlfriend/wife and then there's the side chick that's it. If there are multiple side chicks then your just fuck buddies.

Basically one of them is something you've both agreed to your both going to be in a causal relationship.

The other is the person with the side partner being a dick and well cheating on someone that they are dating and claim to care about. A side piece is someone who is who doesn't know they are participating in cheating but also they get the crappy deal of being blamed even if it's not there fault.

As you say it's basically just knowing what the relationship is.
