Is being a side chick better?

I've been sleeping with this guy for a year and a half. When I first met him he said he wanted a serious relationship. I fell for his lies. Fast forward I discover he used me as his side chick. I can't believe I was a side chick to a 20 something year old woman. Me a 41 year old woman.

When I confronted him about it he denied having a girlfriend. He actually still lies to this day everytime he tries to re-enter my life. I know he just wants sex with me. Though he will say stupid things like I belong to him forever. I believe he is narcissistic but that is another story.

I feel hurt and angry and stupid. But its left me wondering if I were in a better position than the main chick. His girlfriend or fiance is all in love with him and posts on social media about her love for him and plans to marry. Though I noticed he doesn't post her on his social media. He even invited me to follow his social media.

Yet, he still calls for me for sex.

I sometimes wish I were the main chick but then I think he would just be cheating on me. Maybe I am fortunate in that I see his true colors?
