1.) Online dating. Men have slim chances of getting a match online despite profile tweaks, good pictures and additional purchases to maximize it to the fullest potential. They can message 50 women and not get a response back. Women are hit hard with messages and they will only go with a man that strikes their fancy physically or gets her attention with his message.
2.) Standards and expectations. Everyone should have standards, no question. However when it comes to women their list seems endless and it comes down to how many does a man have to meet or boxes does he need to tick just to get a sliver of attention or a chance for a woman who may not even be worth it at the end of the day be it the woman just does click with them or they don't even embody what the seek in a man. Women want Superman at the end of the day.
3.) "What do you bring to the table" is a phrase that has become irritating to a degree but understandable nonetheless. Both sides should bring something into the relationship. Essentially though if a woman can do everything the man in question can do, it comes down to "What can you do that I can't?" She will only consider a man that challenges her and can do things she cannot because that brings interest and value. People want those that are equal or just above them in their eyes.
4.) Games and lack of respect. Women have no level of common respect for men who are great guys and show interest, instead they like to string them along or jerk them around with ambiguous words and inconsistent behavior and they absolutely hate it when they get called on it.
5.) The older you get, the less likely women your age will be childless.
6.) Communication. Women are not transparent and direct with anything they say and expect men to either take the hint or read their mind or "just know".
7.) Entertainment. A lot of women view dating as entertainment and go for the guy who gives them the most fun and who can keep them entertained without boring them.
8.) Combative or stubborn. This is mainly for those in relationships but also women who date can be like this. Men don't like it when women question or challenge everything they do under the sun. Be it a decision in the relationship direction, plans, hobbies, how he wants to spend his day, etc. At that point it's like, "Goddamn, alright, how do YOU want it to be done, Task Master? Because clearly I don't know what the hell I am doing and you know what is best."

Well I know men can ghost those ladies, but I do know it does go both ways. Women do ghost potential guys who are ready for a relationship just as much as men do the same thing.
There can be trust issues, yes; however, trust issues can also depend on the situation.
Trust issues can depend on if the couple begin to date, how long is the relationship going to last? Even if a women does strongly become interested and has a major crush on the guy,... again same thing. How long is this romantic interest/crush going to last?
In my own experience,... my relationships would only last up to maybe a few months or longer, then she breaks it up with me. It's a repeated pattern I have experienced plenty of times and it just gets tiring.
Then when a girl becomes and expresses her crush/interests in me,... she does show that she's highly interested in me, gives me hints and clues about getting more connected with me, then by the time I do connect with her,... her interests are very swiftly dropped, gone and I know I won't see nor hear from her again. I've experienced that way too many times and it just gets irritating and tiresome.
As for women just primarily expected to earn the money, pay the bills, do the house work and so on while guys do very little to nothing,... I can't fully agree with that. There are men out there who do unfortunately do that, but in a realistic sense,... not all men do that. I will share in my responsibilities and be fair about it as well.
I know I have heard this saying which is "Happy wife, happy life",... I can't say in a realistic sense that is and always will be 100% true and proven to work.
Even if you do make your female partner very happy,... there's no guarantee you'll end up having a very happy life with her. If you do make your female partner VERY happy,... she's either going to stay romantically committed to you, cheat on you or still potentially leave you anyway.
Even if a guy wants to date a women with intent of inevitably marrying her and start a family and so on,... to her,... you'll most likely not be her type at all. I know I have met a few ladies myself who are not ready for a committed relationship. They are just playing the field. That's all they are doing.
Don't get me wrong, there are women who are seeking a committed relationship, but not all of them are doing that.
Smart women are very often overlooked,... guess what? So are smart men too. That does go both ways.

If anything, they are going to do whatever it takes to change them and make it work,... but in a realistic sense,... how often does that become successful?
Guys do go through so many failed relationships and women who are just not interested in them at all to the point where it gets very irritating and tiresome and they just give up and quit. ... and women often wonder why single men dive into porn very often?
Even if there are men out there who do have "their shit together"... that's not gonna matter. If they are not their type, plain and simple,... no magic nor any spark is going to bloom.

I haven't dated at all for a while due to being too busy with other things in life. That will change in another year though.
However, from what I have seen, and from discussions/interactions I have had with others I'd say there are some frustrations.
1. Women thinking that when she is older she still has a chance with someone like me, a good man that never did drugs, no alcohol, works out, 6' tall, is good with kids, loyal, etc. I have no interest in them.
2. Women that think their past doesn't matter. It does and can permanently disqualify her from having a good quality man. Partied with drugs? Was promiscuous/casual sex? Had kids from a past partner? All of those kinds of things can make a good quality man have no interest in her.
3. Some women get tattoos, and sometimes a lot. In my opinion, tattoos ALWAYS make her less attractive, never more attractive.
4. Thinking the man's money is to be used for the bills and for their dates, but her money is only hers.
5. Wanting help with housework, but yardwork somehow doesn't count at all and is only for the man. She can go outside and sweat in the 90+ degree heat doing yard work if she wants help with the housework. Be fair, not sexist.
6. She thinks it is okay for her to be fat while expecting the man to keep up his exercise to stay strong.
7. Wearing revealing/slutty clothing and posting provocative pictures while in a relationship.
Maybe I'll figure out more at another time. That is what occurred to me now.
As for the link, most of those don't apply to me. The one about housework though, see above where I mentioned yardwork. You'll see my view there. For the one that mentions trust issues, I think they just want the opportunity to steal from men and they call it trust issues when he wants a prenuptial agreement. I'd never get married without one and any intelligent man should do the same. The majority of relationships don't work out, the majority of divorces are started by women, and the majority of them she steals the man's earned money, house, car, etc. Statistics show that.

I will admit. It's hard falling in love with someone in 2022 and even harder to lock down a relationship with them. Personally speaking, I've now been single for quite some time now and in October, it'll be three years since my last relationship ended - which had lasted for five whole years before everything went to shit. I won't go into details but all I'll say is that whatever the outcome was, it broke me and scarred me as a person as well as changed the whole idea of love I used to have as a whole.
Don't get me wrong though, I haven't turned into an incel or anything like that. It's just that I just can't bring myself to trust anyone anymore, or open up to them because I have this past trauma which makes me feel like they'll all end up using my own feelings, weaknesses and shortcomings against me in an argument.
Coming back to your question, I'll refer to my first initial sentence. Not trying to generalize here but the most women I've known when asked what they look for in a man, almost all say that he needs to earn six figures a month at least, needs to have a cool respectable job, should be 6 feet or more, needs to drive a cool car and should have a rocking physique, and when asked what they themselves have to offer to said man, almost all of them say "well, he's getting me. What else would he need?" Yeah well, let me tell you something, sister. That kind of narcissism won't get you anywhere in life.
Like in all seriousness, all a guy really wants in a woman is for her to be there for him in his difficult times, not constantly try to control his every move or wanting to know where he's been and what he's doing every hour of the day, and be distrustful of him. In the end, all a guy really wants is someone whom he can be good friends with. Someone who he can talk to and share his deepest, darkest secrets with without being judged or slandered, and to make him feel like he's worth something in a world where a man's worth is measured by his bank balance. Unfortunately for some, that's asking too much.
Unfortunately, women today think that even after being the town bicycle they will and should find a good man. Not gonna happen. Just because the past few generations have consumed and utilized the online dating/hook-up apps, doesn’t mean that people with actual morals want them. But when there were multiple dates before sleeping with a partner, it drastically reduced the urge to just fornicate with someone based on looks. Hook-up apps have ruined the dating scene. Who wants to look at a partner and know they’ve slept with 50 to 100 other people besides you? Anyone who cares about the person they are with, don’t want to imagine that. There used to be a time when someone’s wife’s naked body was for his eyes only. Not for public consumption. Think about all the pics sent back and fourth online and on cell phones. They are on the internet forever for all to see. Imagine your kids finding your pics online. Explain that to your kids, without sounding like a gross degenerate. Plus, your partner is in someone’s personal spank bank for use whenever the situation arises. A return to conservative America is needed. People need to have respect for themselves, and their current and future families. It’s a fucked up world in America right now. It hasn’t been right since the mid 1990’s. It’s a shame, America was s much better place to date and raise s family.

I don't like when girls are... ghosting, not saying what they feel, they are not direct, afraid of saying anything or initiating something a lot of times. Sudden mood changes on me and somehow i'm always blamed for it. Weird expectations from me and if i don't meet one of them then i'm thrown away immediately.
Disrespect that i'm expected to just endure by default, but the slightest mistep/mistake on my part means game over. Even if it was a misunderstood sentence or a joke.

So I’ll just make like two points- there’s the pro and con. The Pro is that there is an ease and beautiful lightness to dating now. Freedom from many things that used to be burdens on young couples looking to have fun. It’s amazing and liberating in so many ways, full of mind blowing sexiness and incredible tenderness. So that’s the pro.
The con is something that cuts across wealthy and modernized societies everywhere.
This is not just for men but for everyone. People now are born into lives that have access to things that are far away from what was naturally available for thousands of years. By that I mean, my grand parents didn’t have electricity growing up, they didn’t have indoor plumbing, they didn’t have the access to education and information that I was born with. I have a handheld computer that can grant me access to pictures videos and information from across the world, it’s truly a large step away from the norm that was in place for years and years. I’m not complaining but it’s noteworthy when considering my age group and he dating pool. I guess my point is that with these new luxuries and distractions, the availability of distraction and losing one’s mindset in a device while living a life of comfort makes society different. Where in the past social gatherings of the community were more consistent and held a greater importance, I feel that has been lost a little in many communities. So to that point, meeting women my age face to face organically has become more difficult. Knowing there families and what they are like doesn’t come on a dating profile. Basically the dating game has become more individualized and less community based. So the focus becomes more about how the two people are rather than the growth of the community. This puts pressure on those people in a lot of cases. So in my view this is a sort of con. It diminishes a groups ability to build and humans like to be and build in groups. Anyways enough from me.
How I can’t show vulnerability around women or confide in them. How so many women judge you basic on one mistake you make knowing full will you are going through a hard time on their life but they only care about themselfs. I lose two kids this year , my mom has cancer went through a forced break up and not a single one of my girl friends give a shit.

I just want to preface this by saying I'm not condemning women for this at all, and this is just my subjective take on things, and I feel that some of what i'm going to say can also be said about guys nowadays. I would also add that I'll be making generalizations that aren't necessarily true on a case-by-case basis.
With that being said I think the thing that negatively affects dating the most nowadays is unrealistic beauty/physical standards. For example, women want men that are 6'0ft and above, this is obviously unrealistic because the average height of males is well below that (at least in the U. S.). Men on the other hand also have unrealistic beauty standards, we want slim thick ladies, with big boobs and a big round ass. So both sexes are guilty on this point.
Honestly though I don't see of way of fixing this, people are allowed to be attracted to whatever they like, but being blinded by those standards of attraction can make you (both men and women) lose out on a genuinely beautiful person. In conclusion i guess we should all strive to be mindful of the fact that most people don't look like supermodels and that's ok.
I don't have frustrations with dating women, I have frustrations in finding women worth dating, women I can relate to.
I see zero point in the type of criticisms in your link, it's like complaining that a desert lacks water.

Men and women are not clones of their respective genders, they are individuals, and any complaints are the result of 2 people simply being incompatible, so the only thing to actually complain about, is how absurdly hard it is to meet like minded people as an adult, especially if you're not the partying drunkard type.
I sincerely think my biggest frustrations about dating women are these:
- lack of comprehension and empathy, I’m shy and awkward, I know this is a red flag but this doesn’t give right to treat me with indifference or ghosting, I’m human and I have sentiments too, so the only thing I ask is at least some respect;
- too high expectations, this one is son of the first one. A man can have fears or can be introvert, not every man is Brad Pitt so there can be lack of confidence, that brings insecurity. Too high expectations (without knowing who’s the person they’re in front of) means only bigger delusions for woman;
- too many claims, it’s 2022 and it’s years of parity and equal rights… but equal rights means also equal responsibilities. So I don’t have to be obligated to offer dinner every time or to pay for everything, there should be balance. The balance should be in everything, it’s a good thing to split duties, expenses and errands.
It's basically a side job where I have to act like a monkey circus, to compete for a girl's attention and stand out in the sea of messages in her inbox, have to fit within a checklist of expectations while she only has to be there and just exist. Failure is frequent and it often comes with dismissive comments from other people, on the lines of "try again" or "do better". It's become such an investment with very little likelihood of reward. It's not worth it anymore.
Also, my biggest frustrations are individual failures with people who were unlike that and actually liked me, and I lost the chance. That made me go to the modern dating world and experience what I described above.

I wouldn't say women, but being poly in a smaller suburb can be pretty frustrating sometimes. The people my age are more into swinging/swapping, and calling it poly, which my wife is not. Dating younger women is like riding a motorcycle, exciting, brief, and not to be taken seriously.
So that's kind of a pain, but I tend to be a magnet for subs, so that balances the scales. Really, the only things that annoy me or frustrate me aren't things that I can change unless probability itself is altered. Generally there's more guys throwing themselves at any given woman, then women throwing themselves at any given guy. So, again, short of altering probability, I just need to keep playing the odds, plodding along, and being an anomaly lol

We do not approach women anymore because we have been told repeatedly and loudly not to, that women do not want to know.

Now they are complaining that no guys will approach them, because the guys have come to the rational decision that the women are not worth the time and effort, now women who are approaching men are getting knocked back and they are getting a taste of what men have been getting from time immemorial and they don’t like it.

Nope, by thirty every guy I know in this area was either married, divorced and not dating or had given up entirely. The ONLY exception are the players that women should probably avoid.
Sheesh, reading that link to the responses from women is quite rough and some of it mirrors what the men are saying; the most visible/memorable people have lots of baggage or are toxic or have unreasonable expectations.
My personal experience is that meeting people is hard. Dating apps can shatter your self confidence as a man (going months without a single match in my case), article after article comes out saying women dont want to be approached in places like the gym or the grocery store so that leaves bars, clubs, and hobby groups for the most part. From there, many women would rather add someone on social media than hand out their number. As someone who isn't on much social media, that can be tricky. From there, most conversations are lackluster or die off immediately and any attempt to arrange any kind of get together is met with ghosting.
It's a little tiring is all.
I feel like some girls and women have followed feminist extremism a little too much. Some have used a few bad experiences and completely categorized all males in one area (ie: all awful horn dogs). I don’t get why young women today say “I don’t want a guy, I want to focus on my career” meanwhile she has a career and still has a life with her friends going out a few times a wk…makes no sense. Women want to get compliments or money. Chivalry is dead, honesty is a thing of the past, flirting the right way is a lost art. People seem to be all about flings, one stands, being fake, lack of communication, following dumb ideologies and etc, I could go on forever.
TBH, it's the little things she does like if she is at a drive-thru and she's calling me for my order and 5 years that she and I have been together and eating together, and this is where my annoyance comes into play, she knows what I like and what I don't like. So, she would purposely mess up my order, e. g.
If my order was a “Large Sprite, extra Ice” either she changes the flavor to one she knows I never order, or she gets it right and leaves out the “Extra Ice” and sometimes she even leaves out the “Ice” like, no Ice at all.
i think social media and dating apps have literally driven women insane. They get so much undeserved attention and validation it makes them delusional about their worth and their expectations of men. I think most women now a days are conditioned to be very manipulative, untrustworthy, and unloyal. They’re are able to cheat much easier than men, don’t even get me started about how much access girls have to sex now with tinder and other apps, they can literally rack up body counts that only prostitutes used to have. Well not able to get dates for one. Like where? when? how? Online dating is garbage. I have no clue if I'm attractive or not. Seems like married men get more action from woman than single men. Pretty much everything. I had to reverse the question to see if it could even be answered. What do i enjoy about dating women now? Nothing. Not a damn thing. It’s been years since i’ve met a woman so awesome that i would put myself through the wood chipper that is dating straight women.
My frustration is mainly with the fact that dating is treated as a "game" with rules.
Where we can't be ourselves or show that we are really excited about being with someone so soon.

Why does this have to be the way?
In general:
1. Most women are flaky and never get to the point about anything.
2. Women who flirt and tease but have no serious intentions of anything.
In the specific area where I live I have noticed:
married women flirt a lot and make insinuations. I have noticed that a lot of people in the region where I live have side chicks or side guys. I have had several spoken - for women who have tried to make me their side guy. But I politely tell them to fuck off.
How on earth would I know. I've never dated the entire race of women, least of all in this year. Therefore I have none with women in 2022 I only have my experiences of women I've dated which don't count for the entire race and I haven't dated anyone in 2022 yet.
I'm so glad I don't have to date in 2022. Reality is in today's world, do men really need women? What do women bring to the table in a relationship these days? I can't think of one quality thing besides the ability of having children, for which most likely will be held against men to either trap them in a marriage from hell or to bleed them dry in a divorce.
Bottom line is it really isn't worth being with a woman in 2022. It's not worth the hassle.
For me the biggest dating is that online dating is scam because most online websites operate with bots or fake profiles that are hard to discern.
My biggest issue with is the hypocrisy because women are as self entitled as many guys are and that it is hard to find a partner is not solely because of guys hence women love to see dating as a game as well.
I think mens struggles universally boil down to 1 core issue. Women aren’t as interested in us as we are in them. As a guy you’re like invisible to women. When it comes to attraction men are almost entirely physical, i. e we see a pair of nice boobs, and a nice ass, and we're already under the biological spell lol. It's also worth pointing out that women nowadays sexualize themselves as much as men sexualize women, i. e women will wear tight clothing that highlight their physique and that will inevitably grab the attention of men.
Because of social media and dating apps women have become extremely picky where the average man is invisible to the average woman. Only the top 10 % of guys have any chance with women, the rest are being used for their time, attention and money. The interaction between men and women are becoming more adversarial.
Top 10%? I once logged on to a dating site as a woman looking for a man. Once I put in all the requirements the average woman had, all 400 men in my home state were eliminated.
I also answered every question wrong to try to find the least appealing woman on the site…basically, an unemployed, chain smoking, heavy drinking, overweight divorced woman with a kid. Her headline said “Where are all the good men?”
Today's woman look down her nose at men, thinks the universe was designed to revolve around her, while simultaneously not being able to go 2 minutes without validating herself with male attention. It's like dating an illogical 14 year old brat in a woman's body.

I have had only two kinds of problems with the girls I dated:
#1 Lots of girls had a bad past. I don't accept immoral/promiscuous girls in my life.
#2 Lots are entitled to think they deserve more than they actually deserve.
Solution: I stopped dating white girls and am now only into Asian girls. Coincidence or not, it worked for me.
The things I say only applies to today's woman, as the same complaints have been said about men and women since I was a child, so nothing's changed.
-They generally suck, and not in the fun way.
-Some thinks they are the hot shit more than they are. It's good to think you are beautiful, but don't put potential suiters down because of it. Just say, "no, thanks."
-Older people being immature. Make no sense.
That's all I got right now.
They seem to want what they call us to have there shit together, and most of the time they are less in control of their own lives than we are, that's generally why they are probably single. Personally I don't want to be supporting some woman just because I'm acrewing her.
Say, if i am on a dating app and we match. They expect men to keep the conversation going and wouldn't put a damn work to make the conversation a bit better. Thats completely a turn off and makes me unmatch these women and its really frustrating.
I am married but if I were to date the most important thing to is she be real and not try to over impress we can tell when you do that, I think woman that have natural beauty are by far the most beautiful women on the planet

Eh... I'm not really a fan of the constant vague hostility that so many American women seem to have for men, but it's not too hard to avoid women like that.

@MzAsh: You're correct. There are indeed shallow men all about. But I think it's important to highlight that shallowness is a personality trait vice tied only to one gender. Many women are shallow too. That aside, of course nobody should want a meaningful relationship with a shallow person. But as a woman, can you please indulge us men what a woman truly brings to a relationship?
A woman can bring many things to a relationship. I suppose it depends on her skills, how she likes to give value, and what value her partner appreciates. To name a few things, I’d say love, support when life gets tough, companionship, intimacy, shared household investments and responsibilities, children, etc. For my man, I do these things minus the children. I was his nurse for 6 months after he had an accident at work and was off his feet. I was there for him when his mom, dad, and grandmother passed away. These are the things that matter to us.
The only thing women have ever brought into the lives of myself or my friends is Bills, drama, and abuse.
haven't dated so I can't say but it seems as if women's expectations and standards are way too unrealistic.
Knowing if she wants to be treated like a woman from 2022, or a woman from 1922 (some of the answers on that list from women suggest this)
Nothing comes to mind that is specific to this year or recrnt years as compared to before. It's always been the same with me - if I'm not doing well mentally and physically, I suck at dating. Currently I'm doing well, and dating is fun.

I mean you are right sure, i just think men kinda go with the flow while chatting to a girl and are like we will see. I think women do more research usually and try to check are you real and honest and they try to find you on social media. Men might want serious relationship but dont think it trough as women do. We are talking here about people that want something real and serious, but there are sure plenty of men and women wanting something superficial and casual.

Most women I meet these days either just want the attention without anything else or they want to just have fun, nothing serious but then usually you find out that they're already with someone else and are cheaters so it's like why bother?

Meeting them in the first place is problematic. I went downtown a few nights ago, lots of people out, but almost all couples or groups of guys or groups with mostly guys.
Nobody wants to meet on a date. Most people are scammers or hawking something. And then 90% of your matches don't even respond to your greetings and salutations.
I got so frustrated with women in the 80’s and 90’s, I hardly ever go out in 2022.
