He is 26, I'm 25, and I met him on Hinge last month and June 10th, to be exact; we messaged each other every single day for eight days until he suggested we go out for dinner, we went out for dinner and drinks, and at first he was very talkative in person. Still, he seemed super nervous, but we managed to have a good conversation flow.
Ever since, he has texted me about twice every week, Monday and & Thursday to be exact, and he asks me about my day and how my week is going and even shares pictures of his home decor and texts me during the holiday weekend when he was at his family's cabin to check in on my day.
That said, in his text, he calls me beautiful, he is flirty, and so forth; now, in person, I'm meeting a very awkward guy that does not speak too much or say too much, lol; this is not too say there isn't any laughter in between our conversation, but even after three dinner dates and we went to a movie and played mini golfs in 2 of these dates we haven't delved into deeper conversations. There have been no other forms of physical affection except a quick hug.
So I'm lost on how to do this as he mentioned yesterday that he would like to go out again after our evening date ended, and we were in the car as he dropped me off; I initiated a slightly awkward hug, and he said see ya afterwards as I closed his car door, and then texted me when he got home that he couldn't wait to do it again and that he had fun. Still, I didn't feel that vibe in person, as he just seemed awkward and even a bit sad.
Anyhow, I'm hoping we will go on our 4th date this upcoming weekend if all goes well, but what are some questions I can ask him to delve deeper into? What are some date ideas I should suggest? I did suggest we go bowling, but I'm thinking of a board game cafe? he always asks me for dinner Saturday evening after his church service.
Or should I do this via text? If so, how do I initiate this?
