This guy had reached out to me several months ago in a friendly bet which ended up allowing us to talk and hang out several times. Over the last several weeks we have begun to open up more and the flirting seemed to be more and more. He went to visit a friend, a girl, he had known for 5 years and considered one of his best friend which he told me about before leaving. Over the weekend something happened because he told me when he got back that they decided to get into a relationship which he was not expecting at all. I thought we were moving in that direction and was totally taken off guard. I’m not trying to wait forever for him but what is the likelihood of this relationship lasting and not just being a rebound for her?
