What are the reasons people say let love find you and do not go looking for it?

I think loves that comes from God comes from two sources: Obedience and Sacrifices, so what my pastor said is you get a husband by serving God and not by serving the person you want to be romantically involved with. You work just as hard, but you work at God’s kingdom and not at gaining your romantic interest.

Its not exactly dont go looking for it , just dont be desperate for it that u make wrong choices. But u can't just lock yourself in a room n say they will knock ur door like magic ( keep tellin myself that also😅)
