Sure, but I don’t really care much about those qualities in a man. Being conservative is just political views, and being in the military is just an occupation. If I get along great with a guy, we share morals, values, and goals, and he turns out to have opposing political views and/or in the military; I could care less. I would be interested in their thought processes and what exactly their job is in the military, that’s all.


Funnily, I am dating a military guy who is a right-leaning libertarian. I didn’t care about his occupation or political views, I cared more about how he treated me, what we have in common, and how we got along. Turns out, we have a lot in common, we share morals and values, and he treats me great. I stand by him in what he believes and what he does, as long as he stands by me and what I believe and what I do.

I’ve always found it interesting how intolerant the average liberal is in 2022. They’ve even done a study and it appears that republicans are much more open minded in dating outside of their political ideology as opposed to democrats, who are significantly more likely to judge. It’s a shame how illiberal liberals have become.
