Me and this guy had a situationship for about 3 years on & off, at some points he made me feel like he loved me & other points he didn’t. We recently started talking again & I asked him if I was ever loved by him, he avoided the question & then at one point said “Surely you are over me right?”

Is it safe to assume 1) he didn’t (even though he told me once he loved me) & 2) that he is over me completely from his question
