Do men get less interested in serious dating with age?

I feel like the older I get the less interested I am in a serious relationship but I wonder if it’s just me or if other guys are the same? It really only seems like a worse and worse deal as time goes on. Like I was super interested when I was younger but now I don’t really see any point besides sex lol.

Yes from the 35-40 I know. If it happens it happens attitude. They get more younger women than I can. The bottomline from what I see is if they are going to act like bitches then I will treat them that way. That’s the truth…. Are you heading that way too?

Young guys are very reluctant to commit.
Older guys can get fed up, like I said, but you definitely can't conclude that guys are less serious with age, if they weren't serious to begin with. Maybe there's a between period that is the narrow sweet spot.

The marrying age, for both males and females, is the oldest it's ever been. It's now 28 for females, and 29 for males. This is a global stat.

Also, men tend to remarry at higher rates than females do. Not sure if that's across all age groups, or just later in life, but I've read that several times.
My husband read an article recently describing how males tend to benefit from friendships females, more than females benefit by friendships with males. The reason they gave is that males tend to be more private and hold their emotions in more with their male friends, whereas females tell their female friends more.
I've heard something similar when it comes to marriage - men benefit from the domestic aspects of living with a woman (it's the homemaker concept), whereas if the marriage ends, she, other than the benefit of the added income, tends to live quite similarly domestically.

I would factor all these things into this topic.
If we exclude the jaded and fed up, of both sexes (and that number is growing, I know), females are more interested in "serious dating" than men, typically.

I just don’t see how guys benefit from it as they age? Like older women are just not as attractive and dating younger women is a problem. So what do guys do? It’s a catch 22. Either date women who make u feel like shit about urself as u get older or go for younger women who u can’t relate to aswell.

Because 26, whether male or female, is being in the prime of your life in many ways.
If you're judging women your age is not being attractive, then you're setting yourself up for failure, honestly.

If you're not attracted to women your own age, and you want young girls (which makes them, effectively, just getting out of teenagehood) then this is definitely your problem and not others'.
24 is considered by men, on average, the most attractive age of females.
If you think only young girls can be attractive, then yes, stay out of the dating world, stay single, as you said. You have no business inflicting that kind of mentality on unsuspecting females out there.

18-21 is most attractive ages to men widely not 24. I think 18 yr old virgin women r the most attractive and get this, most men would agree with me. The farther we get away from the age of 18 and a bodycount of 0 the less interested I am and at a certain point pretty quickly too there is absolutely no chance I’d go for it. I don’t see how that’s unfair. I don’t get u when ur most attractive to me I don’t want u. Older women can be more attractive if I met them when they were younger and sexually inexperienced otherwise they’re not attractive for a relationship. I think my standards for a relationship are high but fair and I’m never lowering them. I’d rather die alone. I’ll gladly stick to nothing serious if no one can meet my standards.

This study says 20 but the minimum age they allowed was 20 if they went down to 18 I’m pretty sure most men would have picked that. Where r u getting 24 from? The vast majority of men prefer younger more inexperienced women. Sure most men will still go for olde more experienced women but that’s kinda my whole point of how men become less interested with age. I really think most men would agree with me but regardless of if most men agree with me or not. 18yr old virgin women are the most attractive to me for a serious relationship and honestly anything less than that seems unfair to me and makes me not really want to seriously date. Yes most men find technical teenagers or women close to it as the most attractive. Look at the women in porn they are almost always 18-30 and most of them are on the younger end of that.
