It depends how large the instagram/TikTok is in your life. If you ask someone: what do you do for a living/what are your hobbies, and it’s either of those, I don’t mind hearing about it. If you just add it on to the end of your description (like, “Also, check out my insta at____”) I think it’s tacky, but not necessarily bad. If they add it randomly onto the end of a paragraph, and their profile is private, meaning you have to follow them to see what they are up to, it’s a cheap tactic for views, and is not worth it 🤷‍♀️

The only reason I give out my instagram account is because I can’t afford to go premium on a dating app lol easier to message me there if they’re really interested in me.

If you take the dating app seriously, think of your profile as a "resume".

If your IG would add more positive information about you, even an alternative contact - yes.

Think of it as adding Certificates on your resume. Or personal projects.
