My boyfriend was texting facing the wall today and he was on his phone the whole day today but takes forever to text back. Should I worry?

I was playing on his xbox one and he was on his phone all day texting his friend which I didn’t find weird because his friend is moving away soon with his girlfriend. But when I was about to leave he was texting very weirdly facing the left wall meanwhile I was heading out to the door to the right he almost didn’t notice me leaving. And then when I asked him why he did that he didn’t really give me an answer he kinda just smacked his teeth and said “baby” something like that but I just let it go and gave him a kiss.

If it becomes a habit, where you start noticing patterns in his behavior... Changes in mood, guarding his phone more, being distant with you, or ignoring you... Then I would have a conversation with him about how it makes you feel.

What to do about it:

Get involved with some extra hobbies outside of the house that helps you connect with new people and network.
Do nice things for you and others (help out at a food bank, etc)
Spend more time meditating & focusing on you and your potential and you'll start to notice how quickly he will gravitate towards you.
Don't stress or panic or go through his phone... Just observe and if you want to, make yourself a little notes section in your phone of all the times he does this or other strange behaviors.

If you suspect he's cheating on you, be calm and patient & just see how he responds to you when/if you have the Convo. If he becomes defensive, then you'll know he's got something to hide. Talk it out. Communication is key.

If a person is on their phone the entire time they are with you or for large amounts of time with you, that means they don’t respect you or your time. Being face deep in your phone means you aren’t interested in enjoying your reality around you.

We spend only two days together but I didn’t blame him because I was video gaming like the whole time lol. The only thing that’s weird was that he was texting his best friend very often and fast but he doesn’t reply to me fast at all especially yesterday i think he took like 4 hours to respond to me. He’s unemployed

@asker even if you were gaming, he should be invested in gaming with you. Gaming is an activity that can be enjoyed with your partner. Being on your phone and scrolling through apps is mostly personalized for the person that owns the phone. It’s impolite. I would recommend both of you get off the screens and do something tomorrow though more valuable than just laying down playing video games especially since your time together per week is limited

Well I’m not sure what to say. My opinion stands that being on your phone for long periods of time while being with someone that you claim to be important to you is disrespectful
