Well I would say that's some kinda excuse... he doesn't wanna get back but he wants to see.. so what happens if you guys keep seeing each for days or months.. that's like he wants you around but with some kinda boundaries... that's why he's not getting back yet

He said that he is still attracted to me and when he is excited sexually he can imagine my body but he does not want to have sex with me now cause his " feelings are out of the way" I asked what he wants to say by that he said that he can' t focus on them now so he does not want to keep me as a fool cause we are not together now

He's still attracted to you sexually that's it... he knows he's gonna make you feel like a fool if he keeps having sex with you.. he developed a consciences for that... as for his feelings I don't think he Loves you cus if you Love someone and you had the chance to be with them you wouldn't break-up because you can't focus on your feelings... The question is were you two happy together... just ask him that... if he was happy being with you then.. and tell him you where happy... but it's was he happy?
