Age difference?

If two consenting adults want to be together why should age difference be an obstacle?

I'm married to a man 15.5 years younger than me. We've been married for 4 years and together for 5.5 years-ish. We have had three amazing children together (one was a set of twins, in case that confuses anyone). He's easily the best relationship I've ever had. However, at first I was pretty against dating him because I was worried about the age difference. However, after I gave him a real shot I fell for him pretty much immediately. Consequently, I'm a firm believer age gap relationships can work really well. My marriage is proof of that.

With that being said I do recognize that an age gap relationship can be an issue for many. Mine worked out really well because we were in compatible places in life (despite the age gap), I've got an energy level that matches a younger guy, we both wanted kids, our life goals are compatible, our sex drives are very compatible, and our maturity levels are compatible.

If any of those things don't line up an age gap relationship has a high chance of not working out.
