Probably not ideal just because your life states and mindsets are probably very different, especially when the age gap is between younger people, but if it's working for you then be smart, stay safe, and acknowledge the fact that you're a consenting adult who can make her own choices.

If that is the scenario it probably isn't the best one for the girl, all the girls I knew in school and life with relationships like that were addicted to some pretty serious stuff at a young age and were basically dropouts, I mean people should be free to do what they please in life and if they are 18 and want to date a 27 consensually, I guess it's ok but I as a man wouldn't date someone that young if I was 27, minimum age for me would be a 23 year old very close to turning 24, maybe a 22 year old, but for sure a 23.

it's not wrong but it begs the question what do people nearly 10 years apart typically at very different places in life have in common. one is hardly out of high school the other is approaching 30.

As long as it's legal it's okay, but I still wonder about why he wants to date you. Can't he find woman in his age ranking? I had a friend who just turned 18 and dated a 31 year old. He went for her because she was still easy to manipulate (bc she was young), women at his own age just weren't that easy to manipulate so he went for younger women.

Depends on the individual case. I was 29 and going out with a girl 19 at one point. She was a virgin, and the reality was that she was probably too young for me at that point, but she was a hot 19 year old, and a virgin to boot.
