Haven’t dated and I’m 22…?

I went to an all girls high school and hence I was not used to interacting with guys at all. I became very awkward and shy with guys afterwards. I also don’t seem to know many guys either as I’m really busy with my school work and i don’t meet new people often, plus my major I chose is now also mainly with girls. Is that weird how I haven’t dated anyone properly still? My friends all talk about their relationships etc and I have nothing to input. I’m 22 and haven’t even kissed a guy still. I have no experience in anything. Should I be actively trying to put myself out there and know more people? Or should I just let things naturally unfold and wait for the one? Also I think I am starting to get lustful thoughts but I also don’t want to lose my virginity to just anyone. How can I control this?

In all honesty it's okay. There are plenty of people your age that haven't had any romantic experiences. It's up to you if you wanna put yourself out there, but I'm gonna warn you that not everyone is pure-intentioned and good hearted (just take a look at the weirdo who replied). My best advice to you is to be selective, in the sense that you choose someone that has a good heart and personality, and above all else, someone you can trust and put your full faith in. But anyway don't feel stressed or pressured. The right one will come along eventually

And if you're awkward with dudes that's fine too. Totally normal. Maybe when it comes to that you can put yourself in more social situations where there's guys if that makes sense lol. I think the only way to overcome something like that is to spend more time around them
