Why does my girlfriend get mad when I talk to my mom?

I’m a 17 year old and me and my girl have been together for 7 months now. Everytime we would all go out as in me her and my mom, she would get mad that I talk to her. Mind you I’m in the back seat with her hand over her neck and all. And she still gets mad. My girl would talk and my mom would ask out loud do y’all want food and I would say yes, and go back to my girl and say so what were you saying? And she would get mad about it. I’m on the phone with her everyday 24/7 literally. And she still says I don’t give her enough attention. What do I do
