Does being broke for months put a strain on a relationship?

With inflation me and my s/o have been struggling pretty bad have had to get help with bills and people giving us money and etc and now it seems we’re always at home and both our always bored and I feel like he’s starting to lose interest in me and is now happier being at work.

Yes, being broke really sucks. My wife and I were talking about how broke we were when we first got married and first had kids. It really put a strain on our relationship.

Shouldn't do so if it's love because at the end of the day it shouldn't change how you two feel about each other. If it does then that's not love.

Yeah I was thinking the same I know being broke can put a strain and make people miserable but it seems now that he likes this girl at work and I don't know what to do but he keeps denying it but now wakes up getting all dressed up with cologne and happier to be at work then with me so it makes me feel like he likes her
