Does your relationship start getting crappy when your broke?

Mine has been pretty crap lately we don't go anywhere cause we're both broke ATM and you can tell us being around each other a lot there's nothing to say to each other and seems like nothing to do with each other at least from his side.

So I don't think lack of money is your issue here. It sounds like you just have a compatibility issue.

In college, I never had money to do grand things with my partner, but we still figured out things to do together. There's plenty of things to do that don't cost money.

Also, if you two can't find anything to say to each other if you're not out doing something together, then you two just aren't going to work out in the long run.

When I was in a relationship with my ex-fiancee, we were both extremely broke, so we planned dates that didn't require spending much money. However, when we were able to do something nice, it felt incredibly special, and we were more appreciative of it than we could have been if it occurred often.

What about if you have only $15 to your name between both of you. We been stuck at home just playing video games but he's tired of his games already and just always complaining and doesn't occupy himself like I can. And just is making me depressed

Oof. That sucks. My ex-fiancee and I had basically nothing. We worked things out because we had a lot in common. She introduced me to different movies, music and activities that didn't cost us anything.

If money was what was keeping you together then the relationship obviously isn't healthy

Keeps complaining about money constantly and he's always been a money hungry person
