I can't believe this is a serious question! Do you think women are some lower form of life and it's actually OKAY to physically hurt them, hit them and beat up on them? I have a hot news bulletin for you: A woman is a human being, with full human rights, just like you! Women are just people, just like us guys! I don't know what culture you come from, but a woman is not an object, not a THING that you own! She is not a piece of property. She is not a horse or a camel or a sheep to be bought, sold, or traded! If you love a woman, you should want to care for her, defend her and keep her safe! And yes, a woman is actually entitled to have her own opinions and she doesn't HAVE to see everything your way! And that's okay! It is CERTAINLY no excuse to physically attack her. That's the way of the world!

And there are some guys, like Mike Tyson, who somehow conflate love with violence! That is a mindset that is completely beyond my understanding, but he lost his first wife to divorce because of it. I hope he has changed and mellowed over the years.

One of the few times people on both sides of the sociopolitical spectrum can agree that men and women are not equals is in regard to abuse and assault. Supposedly men are bigger and stronger, so we can potentially do more damage and therefore there should be laws in place to protect women from men.
There’s a gross double standard though. If you’re paying attention, you might notice that’s a violation of the US Constitution. So, we need to get a lot better at recognizing that women are also abusers, that men are also victims and that women do abuse men. The laws should be changed to reflect that and they should be applied equally to men and women.

Okay this has got to be a troll! IPV is something like the #2 preventable cause of death among women, obviously after car crashes being #1. It’s extremely dangerous, and many, many women loose their lives every year as a result if intimate partner violence!

Men in general are more aggressive because of testosterone. They are more often perpetrators of violent crimes.

With that said sometimes innocent men get thrown under the bus by society and/or law enforcement due to the stereotype.

The most common example would be a domestic dispute where a woman claims a man hit her (with no witnesses). Sometimes it’s true. However I’ve seen really shitty scenarios where she whips up fake tears and slaps herself to look like a victim. The worse case is when she initiates violence and tries to gaslight him for it.

Guys are usually guilty until proven innocent with this bullshit. Johnny Depp is the most famous example.

It's an expectation general among most societies. It comes from men supposed to be protectors. Also from physical differences.

Abusing for sake of abuse is wrong.

Anyone who hits anyone should get arrested. There are men who get beat by thier girlfriend in the ER all the time. It's a fraction of the men that kick the crap out of women. Who are in general smaller and less able to defend themselves. Plus guys who hit tend to pick women they can kick the crap out of. Hope that helps

It is worse than you think. Where I live, if a woman even says a man threatened her or scared her, even if there is NO proof, he is going to jail and then to court. My ex-wife did this to me multiple times before I got rid of her.
