I'm upset about a situation with a guy I like, how do I point it out in a sarcastic/playful way so that it doesn't seem demanding yet give the hint?

We know each other for a couple of months and we usually FT because we're distance apart. He suggested we call on Sunday and I replied later that day saying that it's okay with me. He didn't open the message and didn't reply the whole day or the day after, and on Sunday, too he did not reply. We didn't decide on a specific hour so I was waiting for him to confirm or anything but when it reached 3:00 PM I got mad so I sent a Raincheck text to save my dignity. And still he did not reply. He didn't even open any of his social media since Friday and I know he might be busy and he had things going on lately but he could've at least said anything. He is usually more decent than that, if we are going to call and he has sth come up or is going to be late he usually texts to let me know but this time he didn't and I want to make it clear I am upset with the situation.

You don't want to come across as passive aggressive towards him. It would be better for you to be straight with him. Just let him know in a non-accusatory tone that you understand if he's busy to not be able to FT, but he should let you know and not leave you wondering whether he's going to reply or be available. Until you chat to him about it, you won't know what the reason is, so keep it chilled and just out your point across that communication is so important, and you're sure he wouldn't have liked it if you did that to him.
