How to tell if a girl actually likes me?

The basic gist is this: I met this girl a month ago and we really hit it off. We went on 5 dates and they all went great. I left town last week for about a month and we discussed how we would communicate during that period. I said we should just text and call and she agreed. We called today and everything's going swell. The only issue is that even though I've indicated (maybe not explicitly enough?) a few times that I would appreciate some initiative on her end and that I would like for her to text me first, she never does that. The other issue is that even when she replies to my texts, she texts really formally and kind of dryly.

She says yes to every date I propose, she's willing to spend full days with me (two of our dates lasted 9+ hours), and she always responds to my texts (although, as stated above, somewhat dryly). What is going on here? Does she like me? I'm genuinely so confused. We talked on our last date about how we both date to marry and how we see each other as potential spouses. Just help me understand this. I really like her and want this to work out...
