Guys, do you post your lover on your story? What are your reasons for doing so?

Ok, so this girl would always post her lover on social media, however, the guy (her lover) posted her on his story, tagging her with little hearts around the post. It was unusal for him to do so, until recently, why would he post her today even though he could have posted her a long time ago (they've been dating since October). Overall, why would someone post their lover at such a late time?

I never used to post my now husband before we got married. Even now I rarely post him. Our relationship is too precious for us to share with the whole world and we like to keep things private.
