My father was one. Among his job degrees of engineering and ex air force. In the end he used it as an excuse to not work while my mum worked incredibly hard to keep ends meeting. I won’t forgive him for it.

to be honest, life wouldn't be borng in the least. although with that being said, it might be dangerous, and/or maybe id get less attention from her compared to her inventions.
