Does this seem odd?

I (26f) went on a couple of dates with this guy (23m) and it seemed to be going really well, he started talking about how he wanted to introduce me to his family and constantly asked if I'd consider marrying him! He was tryna convince me to consider marrying him so I said I really didn't know if I liked him that much at this stage.

Suddenly, on the 3rd date, he strangely told me that he actually always liked another girl and since he now found out that she was kinda interested in him, he wanted to be with her. I was completely confused, something didn't add up, I asked how he was really interested in me and pursued me without even trying to confirm that he had no chance with her in the first place. But he didn't reply.

Anyone who talks about getting married after one or two dates is not mature enough to be dating. They would say that to any person who paid them any attention. You aren’t missing anything.
